There’s a job skills gap. Companies continue to share that they have a plethora of job openings, but do not have qualified people to fill it.  Trade organizations state that they don’t have enough people seeking employment to fill their vacancies. Other studies suggest we have the workers but they do not have the soft skills needed for the position. In addition, automation and globalization are making some workers’ skills obsolete.  By the time people adapt to the job needed, the pendulum has swung in the other direction. Why can’t we figure out how to successfully prepare Americans for the future?
